Mid-Year IRS Mileage Increase

As is the customary practice, the IRS set the standard mileage rate for 2022 around the end of 2021. That rate, as of January 1, 2022, was set at 58.5 cents per mile.  However, for the first time since 2011, rapidly escalating gas prices have led the IRS to make a mid-year adjustment.  Effective July 1, 2022, pursuant to IRS notice 2022–13, the standard mileage rate will be 62.

Ratification Voting

IBEW Local 2325 will begin ratification voting on the 2022 tentative agreement negotiated with Verizon. Voting will take place starting Monday July 11th through Thursday July 14th at the Union Hall from 7:30 am till 6pm each day. The hall location is 367 Burncoat St. Worcester 01606. It was supposed to take six years. It did not.
